OPERATION
Fan(s) (optional) (Two hoses with blue bands)
Connect the pair of 3/4” hydraulic lines to supply the hydraulically driven
fan motor. The pressure line is marked with a narrow blue band, and the
return line is marked with a wide blue band.
This tractor lever is locked in full pressure position while seeding.
Case Drain(s) (Two hoses with yellow bands)
You must also connect the case drain lines (yellow bands) to return
hydraulic fluid back to the tractor reservoir. One case drain line is a 3/8”
(10 mm) line from the fan. The other case drain line is a 1/2” (13 mm) line
from the hydraulic manifold. The case drain line(s) MUST return to the
tractor UNRESTRICTED. Failure to do so can cause damage to the
hydraulic cylinders or fan motor and will void Manufacturer’s Warranty.
Seed Hawk recommends that there are two separate case drains into
the tractor!
Average hydraulic requirements according to each circuit:
Circuit 3 and or 4: Fan(s) (continuous when seeding)
9 – 13 gpm (35 – 50 lpm) Single Fan (standard)
18 – 24 gpm (68 – 90 lpm) Dual Fan (optional)

1 – 2 gpm (4 – 7 lpm) return
