OPERATION
CHARGING YOUR BATTERY PACK
WARNING: The charger and battery pack are specifically designed to work together
so do not attempt to use any other devices. Never insert or allow metallic objects into
your charger or battery pack connections because an electrical failure and hazard will
occur.
BEFORE USING YOUR CORDLESS DRILL
Your battery pack is UNCHARGED and you must charge once before use. When you charge the
new battery or one which has not been used for long periods of time, it may not reach full charge
until after you have discharged it fully in use and recharged it several times.
TO CHARGE THE BATTERY
Plug the charger adapter into a suitable power supply. Insert the battery pack into the charger
base. The green and red light both will come on. After full charging, the red light will turn off.
The green light still is on.
NOTE: when the red light is off, take the battery off the charger.
A discharged battery at normal ambient temperature will take approximately 3-5 hours to reach
full charge. When charging is complete, unplug the charger and remove the battery pack.
NOTE: The charger will not automatically switch off when the battery is full charged. Do not
leave your battery on charge continuously. This may damage the battery cells.
Do not charge the battery for more than 10 hours.
WARNING: After long usage the battery will become hot. Let the hot battery cool
down for at least 1/2 hour before recharging.
TO REMOVE OR INSTALL BATTERY PACK
Locate buttons on side of battery pack and depress both sides to release battery pack from your
drill. Remove battery pack from your drill. After recharge insert the battery pack into drill’s
battery port. A simple push and slight pressure will be sufficient.
