Visible cracks in knife Incorrect grinding or

Knives moving on knife
seats Uneven knife seat surfaces Clean up to provide
maximum bearing surface
Loose knife screws Knife screws should not be
used more than six times.
Replace if there is evidence
of stretch
Knives breaking Cracks caused by incorrect
