HOW TO USE

How to Use the Oven Lockout

Feature

The oven lockout feature automatically locks the oven door
and prevents most oven controls from being turned on. It
does not disable the clock, timer or the interior oven light.

(For model: LRG3085 / LRG3083)

Press and hold the

START button for three seconds.

A melody will sound,

will appear and m will flicker

in the display. Once the oven door is locked the oven
lockout indicator will stop flashing and will remain on and

will appear.

To deactivate the lockout feature, press and hold the

START button for three seconds.

NOTE

If the lockout feature is activated with either of the
doors open, the doors will not close completely until the
Lockout feature is deactivated.

Removing the racks

:

1. While wearing oven mitts, grasp the oven rack.

2. Pull the rack straight out until it stops.

3. Lift up the front of the rack.

4. Pull out the rack.

CAUTION

f Replace oven racks before turning the oven on to

prevent burns.

f DO NOT cover the racks with aluminum foil, or any

other material, or place anything on the bottom of
the oven. Doing so will result in poor baking and may
damage the oven bottom.

f Only arrange oven racks when the oven is cool.

Removing and Replacing the
Oven Racks

Preheating and Pan Placement

Preheat the oven if the recipe calls for it. To preheat, set the
oven at the correct temperature. Preheating is necessary
when convection baking and for good results when baking
cakes, cookies, pastry and breads.

Baking results will be better if baking pans are centered in
the oven as much as possible. If baking with more than one
pan, place the pans so each has at least 1” to 1-1/2” of air
space around it.

If cooking on multiple racks, place the oven racks in positions
B and D or C and E (for 2 racks). Place the cookware as
shown in Fig. 1, 2.

Replacing the racks

:

1. While wearing oven mitts, place the end of the rack on

the support.

2. Tilt the front end of the rack up.

3. Push the rack in.

4. Check that the rack is properly in place.
