CHANGING SETUP VALUES (CONTINUED)
Password
A 4-digit password can be set to prevent playback of discs
with higher ratings.

At the SETUP menu, press i/k to
select “Password” and press l.

Input a 4-digit password using the
numbered buttons, then press ENTER.
Example : 1234
Do not forget your password.

Input the 4-digit password again to
verify, then press ENTER.

Setting is finished and the SETUP menu is displayed.
The rating is locked. Any discs whose rating is higher than
the setting cannot be played back unless the correct
password is entered.
To change the settings
To change the rating level, enter your 4-digit password and
follow the steps on page 41 again.
To change the password

At the SETUP menu, select “Password” and press l .
2 Input the 4-digit password and press ENTER.
3 Select “Change” and press ENTER.
4 Follow step 2 to 3 on the left.
To clear the password

At the SETUP menu, select “Password” and press l .
2 Input the 4-digit password and press ENTER.
3 Select “Clear” and press ENTER.
When you forget your 4-digit password
If you forget your password, follow the procedure below.
1 At the SETUP menu, select “Password”.
2 Enter the 6-digit number “210499” and then press
ENTER.
The 4-digit password is cleared.
