From the Start menu, select:
Start>Programs>HP OSM>OSM Service Connection

In the left column of the home page, select a bookmark for the system you
want to access. b.
The first time you try to establish a service connection you are prompted Click here to
download Java Runtime Environment. Select Open and install it according to the
instructions. Then close the current browser, open a new browser, and repeat Step 1.
Also, a dialog box appears, asking if you trust the signed applet distributed by
Hewlett-Packard. You must select Yes or Always to establish a service connection. If
you choose Always, you will not be asked this question in subsequent OSM logon
attempts.

If you have Java Runtime Environment, a Log On dialog box prompts you for a valid
username and password. 3.
The OSM Service Connection launches in a secondary window (to avoid displaying the
standard Internet Explorer toolbar, with features incompatible with OSM sessions). The
initial window will display a "You may now close this window" message. 4.

Server Undiscovered
An OSM Service Connection session cannot be established until system discovery is complete.
Close the browser session that generated the "Server Undiscovered" message, wait until
discovery is complete, then establish a new OSM Service Connection session.
Server Down
An OSM Service Connection session cannot be established. There is either a communication
problem between the console and the NonStop server, or $ZCMOM and $ZOSM processes are
not running. Check the two processes and the LAN network that connects the console and the
server. Once the problem has been resolved and system discovery is complete, open a new
browser window and establish a new OSM Service Connection session.
