This option does not work for text fields that contain embedded fields.

This option compares record values, not formatted field values. The
program ignores the option in the first Detail section of a formatted page.

Suppress If Zero (Number tab)

Tip:

To find this option, click the Number tab of the Format Editor, then click the
Customize button.

The Suppress If Zero property prevents a value from printing if it is a zero
value. The value does not print, but the space in which it would have printed
remains. To remove the blank space, select the Suppress Blank Section
check box in the Section Expert.
