Go to the <JDBC T4 Installation Directory>\lib directory on the Windows system.

command prompt> cd <JDBC T4 Installation Directory>\lib

For example:

command prompt> cd C:\JDBCT4\lib

Verify that the version of JDBC Type 4 driver is T1249V11 or later:

command prompt> java -jar t4sqlmx.jar

SVN

NOTE:

SVN is not required if you download the customized samples (T0874AAB) from SCOUT.

It is required only when you download the Spring sample applications from the Spring repository.

You must have SVN version 1.5.4 or later installed on the Windows system.

If you already have SVN installed, check its version using the command:

command prompt> svn --version

The following repository access (RA) modules are available:

* ra_svn : Module for accessing a repository using the svn network protocol.
- with Cyrus SASL authentication
- handles 'svn' scheme
* ra_local : Module for accessing a repository on local disk.
- handles 'file' scheme
* ra_serf : Module for accessing a repository via WebDAV protocol using serf.
- handles 'http' scheme
- handles 'https' scheme

If the svn --version command returns the following error, set the PATH and ACE_HOME variables:

'svn' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

To set the variables:
1.

Right-click My Computer on your desktop and select Properties.

The System Properties window appears.

Click the Advanced tab.

3.

Click Environment Variables.

A list of environment variables appears.

4.

If the PATH and ACE_HOME variables are listed in the User Variables dialog box, verify that:

The PATH variable includes the bin directory of <SVN Installation Directory>

The ACE_HOME variable is set to <SVN Installation Directory>

If the PATH and ACE_HOME variables exist but do not contain the respective directories, do the
following:
