• PWR—Power supply
• Position—Slot position of FRU in the chassis relative to identical FRUs also installed in the
chassis.
• Status—Active or failed.
Active
always is displayed unless the FRU fails.
Failed
is
displayed if the FRU is not functional.
• Part Number—Part number of the FRU.
• Serial Number—Serial number of the FRU.
Display the FRU Properties dialog box for a specific FRU by using one of the following methods:
• Double-click the FRU row.
• Click a row in the FRU List view and then select Product > FRU > Properties.

Hardware view and Port List view.

Active Blinking Off The port is actively exchanging frames.
Beaconing Off or On Blink Yellow
Triangle
The port is beaconing. The amber port LED
blinks once every two seconds to enable users
to find a specific port. Enable beaconing
through the port’s menu on the Port Card view,
Port List view, or Performance view.
Beaconing
and Active
Blinking Blinking The port is set to beacon mode using a
management interface request and is actively
exchanging frames.
Beaconing
or Diagnostic
Off Blinking The port is set to beacon mode using a
management interface request or is running
diagnostics.
On Blinking The port is set to beacon mode using a
management interface request and is active
with the attached node (exchanging idles, but
not necessarily logged into the switch or
director) or is running loop back diagnostics.
Degraded
and Active
Blinking On The port is operating in a degraded mode and
is actively exchanging frames.
