The Device Type drop-down list allows you to select the type of volumes to be displayed, as follows:
• Total Device displays information on all volume types.
• Internal Device Only displays information on internal volumes only.
• External Device Only displays information on external volumes only.

The OPEN Volume button displays the volume capacity information for all available open-system

volumes in the array. The displayed information does not include the capacity of V-VOL. If there

are no open-system volumes, No Volume is displayed.

IMPORTANT:

This guide contains information about internal disks or LDEVs in an array. Unlike the

XP12000/XP10000 Disk Arrays, the SVS 200 does not have internal disks. Therefore, information

about internal disks or LDEVs in an array does not apply to the SVS 200.

The Allocated LDEV Capacity field displays information about the available open system volumes

(LDEVs) in the array that have assigned paths and are available to the user. The LDEV capacity is

displayed in MB when the Total Volume Capacity is 10 GB or less, and in GB when the Total

Volume Capacity is more than 10 GB. The following information is displayed:
• The capacity of the assigned LDEVs. The percentage (%) of total capacity of open system

volumes is also displayed in parentheses, as well as in the blue area of the pie chart ( ). This

includes LUSE volumes but not control cylinders.

• The percentage of assigned open-system LDEVs compared to the total open-system capacity is

displayed in parentheses and in the blue area of the pie chart.

The Unallocated LDEV Capacity field displays information about the available open system volumes

(LDEVs) in the array that do not have assigned paths. The following information is displayed:
• The capacity of the unassigned LDEVs. This includes LUSE volumes, but does not include

control cylinders, On-Demand storage volumes, or Auto LUN reserved volumes.
