Figure 52 Port Status

Port Status provides information about the ports.
Cluster-1 and Cluster-2 indicate the clusters. The Cluster-1 ports are listed on the upper section of the

pane, and the Cluster-2 ports are listed on the lower section.
Each cluster has eight PCBs (printed circuit boards) and the name of each PCB is displayed on the

header of the port list. The icons show the port name, port LED status, and equipment information. The

icons indicate the following information:

: This port is equipped, and the cable is properly set. It is currently in use and available for

the operation.

: This port is equipped and available for the operation.

: This port is not equipped or not available.

XP Remote Web Console Main Pane, Status Tab

The Status pane shows detailed information on the internal status of the connected array, including the

service information message (SIM) that is being reported to the host. There are five SIM severity levels:

good, service, moderate, serious, and acute (see

Table 14

).

NOTE:

The arrays generate a SIM whenever service is required or an error detected. The status level displayed

on the Status tab is based on the SIM information that is reported to the host. SIM information that is not

reported to the host is not displayed on the Status tab (see ???).

NOTE:

This pane is not available to storage partition administrators.
