5. Install the expansion board into the slot until it seats firmly.
6. Install the PCI riser cage (on page 19 ).
IMPORTANT: The server does not power up if the PCI riser cage is not seated properly.
7. Connect any required internal cables to the expansion board. Refer to the documentation that ships with
the expansion board.
8. Install the server into the chassis (" Installing the server into the chassis " on page 25 ).
9. Connect any required external cables to the expansion board. Refer to the documentation that ships
with the expansion board.
10. Power up the server (on page 15 ).
Installing a FlexibleLOM expansion board
1. Power down the server (on page 15 ).
2. Remove the server from the chassis (on page 15 ).
3. Remove the FlexibleLOM riser cage (on page 19 ).
4. Remove the expansion slot cover from the FlexibleLOM riser cage.
