Using the Options Menu
The Options menu lets you select an alert option to notify you of
errors or warnings.
Being notified of errors or warnings
Whenever an error and/or warning occurs, you have the option to
make the HP OfficeJet Manager window pop to the foreground, so
that you are alerted immediately. The factory setting is (
Notify When)
Errors Occur . Change this setting by choosing Options/Notify When
and selecting from the three choices shown below.
You can be notified when Errors Occur (for example, when paper
jams inside the device), when Warnings and Errors Occur (a warning
would alert you when the print cartridge is getting low), or Never (the
HP OfficeJet Manager would never pop to the foreground to alert you
to errors or warnings).
A list of error messages requiring a response from the user, together
with recovery information is included in chapter 5, and also provided
in the online help.
