B Creating a custom build plan

When using the enhanced deployment option to grow a cluster, a custom build plan is required.
Use the following procedure to create a custom build plan for growing a cluster.
1.

Log in to HP Insight Control Server Provisioning.

2.

Select Configuration Files from the DEPLOYMENT options.

3.

Select the Kickstart configuration file to modify and then select Save as in the Actions menu.

4.

Enter a valid name for the new Kickstart file and then click OK.

5.

Select the new Kickstart file and then select Edit in the Actions menu.

6.

Add the following lines to the Kickstart file. These lines must be added before the ##
post-install script

line as shown in

Figure 21 (page 146)

. This script can be used for

ESXi version 5.0 and above.
