In-rush current occurs for 10 to 12 milliseconds

HP recommends the use of magnetic-type circuit breakers, which are capable of handling
large in-rush currents for short durations (10 to 12 milliseconds) and are rated adequately
for the steady state currents.

*

Data assumes no other devices share the circuit breaker.

Note

Circuit breaker rating must be adequate for the total current drawn by all
devices on all electrical paths that share a circuit breaker.
