FM transmission presets

You can store up to four FM transmission frequencies to the preset buttons

[1]

,

[2]

,

[3]

and

[4+]

. If you experience interference in the FM signal when listening to

Highway on a regular journey (e.g., a commute) you may find it useful to store the free
FM frequencies that work best as presets and then store the same frequencies to the
corresponding preset buttons on your car radio.

To store a preset FM transmission frequency

1. Press

[quickSCAN]

to display the current FM transmission frequency

2. Press and hold one of the preset buttons

[1]

,

[2]

,

[3]

or

[4+]

until you see

the ‘FM saved’ message.

Press

[Tune]

to return to the DAB screen.

To select a preset FM frequency

1. Press

[quickSCAN]

followed by either

[1]

,

[2]

,

[3]

or

[4+]

.

2. Press

[Tune]

to return to the DAB screen, or wait 30 seconds.

Finding new stations with Autotune

The number of DAB stations you can receive may change during long journeys,
particularly if you enter or exit a local multiplex (a group of DAB stations broadcast by
the same operator). Perform an Autotune to search for all stations available and add
any new stations to the list.

To start an autotune

1. Press

the

[Menu]

button

followed by

[Tune]

to select ‘Autotune’.

2. Wait for the Autotune to complete or press the

[Tune]

button to stop it.
