Change options and settings

Press the

[Menu]

button to access the following setup options and use the

[Tune]

dial to select options and adjust values.

Autotune

Select ‘Autotune’ to search for all DAB stations you can receive, add any new stations to the list and group inactive stations
(preceded by ‘?’) at the bottom of the station list.

FM tuning

Choose between two actions when the

[Tune]

dial is rotated in the quickSCAN screen (

page 9

):

Auto

Rotate

[Tune]

to scan up or down through the FM frequency range (default).

Manual

Rotate

[Tune]

to fine-tune the FM transmission frequency in increments of 0.1MHz.

Stereo/Mono

You can change the ‘Stereo/Mono’ setting if you experience FM interference when listening to a DAB station. Choose between:

Auto

(default) Stereo DAB stations are transmitted to your car radio in stereo; mono DAB stations are transmitted in mono.

Forced Mono

All DAB stations are transmitted to your car radio in mono, which may reduce FM interference when listening to

stereo DAB stations. Line-in audio (iPod) is also transmitted in mono.

Trim station list

Select this option to remove inactive stations and unavailable stations

- preceded by ‘?’ - from the station list.

Info display

You can change the information shown on the bottom half of the screen. Choose between:

Date

Displays the date automatically updated by the DAB signal (default).

Programme type

Describes the content of the current DAB station, e.g., Pop Music.

Signal strength

Displays a meter illustrating the strength of the DAB signal. The outlined bar is the minimum signal required.

Signal quality

Displays DAB signal quality: 85 to 100 is good, 70 to 84 is OK, 0 to 69 is poor.

Multiplex name

Displays the name of the DAB multiplex in which the current station is broadcast, e.g., BBC National DAB.

Multiplex info

Displays the channel and frequency of the current DAB multiplex, e.g., 11D, 222.06MHz.

Scrolling text*

Information broadcast by most DAB stations (may include song titles, news, contact information, etc.)

*Scrolling text info display mode is only available in certain countries.
