Appliance Pinouts
This appendix provides pinouts and signal definitions for the following
EVR1500 environmental monitor appliance connectors: analog sensors (RJ-
45), digital I/O (eight-wire insert), COM1 (RS-232) serial port, Ethernet 10/100
BaseT and VGA display. Figure C.1 shows the digital I/O connections on the
appliance terminal blocks.

Digital I/O connectors
Each digital I/O requires two connections, as shown in Figure C.1. Digital
inputs (1 to 6) connect to dry contact closures. Digital outputs (7 and 8) provide
