White balance

Different lighting conditions can cause an

unnatural color cast in your images.

The white balance function lets you adjust

the white balance in response to the lighting

conditions and colors of a scene so that the

whites in a photograph appear white and

other colors appear natural.

Mode

Description

Auto WB

The camera automatically selects the
appropriate white balance settings, depending
on the prevailing lighting conditions.

Daylight

For capturing images outside.

Cloudy

For capturing images under a cloudy and
overcast sky.

Fluorescent_H

For shooting under daylight fl uorescent lights
or three-way fl uorescent lights.

Fluorescent_L

For shooting under white fl uorescent lighting.

Tungsten

For shooting under tungsten (standard light
bulb) lighting.

Custom Set

Allows the user to set the white balance
according to the shooting condition.

Color

Temperature

Allows the user to set the desired color
temperature according to the shooting conditions.

that contain frequently used functions faster.
