Issues Resolved on Series 5i Phones in
Release 2.2
This section describes the issues resolved on the Series 5i IP phones in
Release 2.2. The following table provides the issue number and a brief description
of each fix.
Note: Unless specifically indicated, these resolved issues apply to all
phone models.

User Interface
DEF07409 Phones no longer display "Unknown Name" when making outbound calls.
DEF07815 You can no longer edit a locked speed dial key from the IP Phone UI.
DEF07876 Speeddial page in the Aastra Web UI now returns a confirmation page after clicking
the “SAVE SETTINGS” button.
DEF07901 When adding a directory entry from the IP Phone UI, the phone now prompts the
user to enter a phone number if they try to exit this field before entering a number..
DEF08025 51i/53i: Phone no longer truncates the time and date on the display when the time
format is set to 1 and date format is set to 3.
DEF08224 You can now set the date via the IP Phone UI when using a non-Aastra supported
language pack.
DEF08595 51i: The lock icon now displays during SRTP calls.
Note: The SRTP implementation in the previous release is not fully compatible with
the new SRTP in release 2.2. There is a change in the upgraded libsrtp library on
the phone which causes interoperability problems for certain codecs between old
releases and the new 2.2. release. It is highly recommended that if you are using
SRTP, all phones are upgraded to release 2.2.
DEF08621 A re-INVITE now updates the Caller ID.
DEF08645 When the DND key is configured on an expansion module, the DND status is now
preserved via a reboot of the phone.
DEF08829 57iCT: The MWI icon on the cordless handset now functions correctly.
