The Setup Menu
c Welcome Screen
Choose whether or not a welcome screen is displayed when the camera is turned
on.
Tap the d tab M Tap z (Setup menu) M c Welcome screen
Option Description
None
(default setting) The camera enters shooting or playback mode without displaying
the welcome screen.
COOLPIX
The camera displays a welcome screen and enters shooting or
playback mode.
Select an image
Displays an image selected for the
welcome screen. When the image
selection screen is displayed, select
an image and tap I.
• On the image selection screen,
tap n or rotate the zoom control
to
g (i) to switch to full-frame
playback, and tap o or rotate the
zoom control to
f (h) to
switch back to nine thumbnail display.
• As the selected image is stored in the camera, it will be
displayed when the camera is turned on even if the original
image is deleted.
• Pictures taken at an Image mode (A64) setting of
g 4608×2592, and copies created at a size of 320 × 240 or
smaller using the small picture (
E24) or crop (E25) function,
cannot be used.
