Merging with an infrared device to a
renderer (network controlled player)
If, after adding an infrared device, you find the
device has been registered, the two instances of the
same device can be treated as one device.
The Activity of the infrared device also will be
merged with the Activity of the DLNA device
automatically.
Notes
• This item can be selected when you select a registered
infrared device in step 3. Refer to “Adding an infrared
device” (page 49).
• The infrared device is deleted from the HOME screen
of the “Device” tab after performing this operation.

Press HOME on the unit.
The HOME screen appears.

Tap the “Device” tab.

Tap the desired device.
The Activity list appears.

Tap .
The option menu appears.
Tip
You can also display a menu by pressing and
holding the desired device in step 3.

Tap “Edit Device.”

Tap “Merge Two Devices Into
One.”
A confirmation screen appears.

Tap “Next b.”

Tap the device you want to merge,
then tap “Next
b.”
A confirmation screen appears.

Tap “ OK .”

Tap “ Close .”
The selected device is treated as one device.
