d From the list of available optional software updates, select the
associated check box for each software update you wish to
download and install. Make sure that
Update Rollup 2 for
Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 is selected.
e Click Review and install updates .
f Once all Software updates have been installed, begin the
Sony ® Software CD installation again.

• The installation program has detected all required system
programs/utilities, the Change Destination Folder dialog box
appears.
Note : It is recommended that you return to Windows ® Update
and select the Custom button again to make sure that all
critical updates have been installed.
Note : It may be necessary to shutdown and then restart your
computer for the updates to take affect. When complete,
insert the Sony Changer/Recorder Software CD into the
optical drive and restart the installer.
