Event:
MCE pauses during CD ripping, scanning discs, or CD/DVD meta-
data retrieval.
Comment:
It is recommended that you do not do other MCE related activities
while these tasks are in progress. Doing so can sometimes inter-
fere with the other tasks you are attempting to perform.
MCE can also experience pauses in video-related tasks during rip-
ping, scanning, and metadata retrieval activities.
Event:
Cannot archive selected TV series episodes.
Comment:
• The selected series episodes may be copy protected.
• Make sure the selected series episodes were not recorded
using an ATSC High Definition Tuner.
Event:
Loss of TV Tuner functions after installing software upgrades.
Comment:
Please visit the Windows Update Web site and download all critical
and optional updates. Also visit your computer manufacturer’s
support Web site to download and install any available updates for
your computer.
Contact your PC manufacturer for software support if the above
steps are not successful.
