Turn the jog dial to select the number
of the desired last track, and then
press the jog dial to enter.
This selects the last track of the new
group and the group can be labeled. If
the disc contains groups, only the last
track number of each group is
displayed.

(Title Input)” (page 46)
).

In step 2, the first track must be either the first
track of an existing group or a track that does
not belong to a group.

When selecting the last track in step 3, make
sure the track comes after the one selected in
step 2. The last track must be either the last
track of an existing group or a track that does
not belong to a group.

Releasing a group
setting (Group Release)

Select a group you want to release and
check the contents (see “Listening to
tracks in a specific group (Group Play)”
on page 40).

Press x.

Enter the menu and select “Edit” -
“GroupRelease”.

Turn the jog dial to select “OK”, and
then press the jog dial to release a
group.
The group setting of the selected
group is released.

Moving recorded tracks
or groups (Move)

You can change the order of the recorded
tracks or groups.

You can move a track from one group to
another or from inside a group to outside
the group. When you move tracks, track
numbers are automatically renumbered.

While playing the track you want to
move, enter the menu and select
“Edit” - “Move” - “Track Move”.
If the selected track is in the group,
the name of the group to which the
currently selected track belongs
appears with “B” in the display.
