By using the front high speakers, you can lift
up the sounds of the center speaker to an
appropriate height on the screen, allowing you
to enjoy natural representation without
discomfort.

Note

• This function does not work in the following cases.

– “MULTI IN” is selected.
– Headphones are connected.
– There is no center speaker.
– There are no front high speakers and “Virtual

Front High” is set to “Off.”

– The 2CH mode sound field is being used.
– The sound filed for music is being used.
– The “Multi Stereo” sound filed is being used.
– The “Movie Height” sound filed is being used.

Lets you set the correct angles of the surround
speakers for the Speaker Relocation function.

Note

• This function does not work in the following cases:

– There are no surround speakers.
– Headphones are connected.

Lets you calibrate speaker positioning
(configuration angle of each speaker from the
measurement position) to improve the
surround effect.

x Type A

Places surround back speakers on the back
wall in addition to those speakers in
Recommendation ITU-R for 5.1 channel
speaker placement.

x Type B

Places four surround speakers at virtually
identical angles, according to
Recommendation ITU-R for 7.1 channel
speaker placement.

x Off

Does not relocate speaker positioning.
