To change the recording format
If the recording format is set to PAL, the Add Video Recorded with Media Center feature is not available.
To change recording formats:
1. Point the remote control at the remote sensor, and press the Start button.
The Media Center Start menu appears.
2. Use the arrow buttons on the remote control to select Settings. Press OK.
The Settings window appears.
3. From the Settings window, select Switch Video Format (NTSC/PAL).
4. When the DVgate Plus software dialog box appears, click Yes.
The Video Format Settings window appears.
5. Click to select the option for NTSC.
