OPR

Operation

Preparation:
Turn on all connected equipment.

If you have connected the transmitter to the
headphones jack on the equipment, turn the volume
up as far as possible without causing distortion.

Switch the operation switch of the

transmitter to “ON”.

The [OPR] indicator turns red.

Reduce the volume of the headphones

with the [VOL] dial.

Set the [OPR] switch of the
headphones to “ON”.

The operation indicator turns red.

Put the headphones on.

Use the headphone housings to move the slider so
that both ears are covered.

Adjust the volume of the
headphones.

Since this unit utilizes infrared beams, static noise (hiss
noise) may increase in proportion to the distance from the
infrared beam transmitter. Interception of the infrared
beam also results in noise or interrupted sound.
These phenomena are characteristic of infrared beams
and are not an indication that the unit is out of order.
● Use the headphones within the range described in

“Installation” on page 6.

● Obstructions decrease the effectiveness of the sensor.
Keep your hands and hair away from the sensors d.
● As this unit uses infrared beams, so do not use the

headphones in direct sunlight.

After listening

Take the headphones off.
Set the [OPR] switch of the headphones and the

operation switch of the transmitter to “OFF”.

Turn off the unit the transmitter is connected to.

Note

● Avoid listening for prolonged periods of time to prevent

hearing damage.

● Discontinue use if you experience discomfort with the

headphones that directly contact your skin.

Continued use may cause rashes or other allergic

reactions.
