Intel RAID
System Acceleraton (optonal)
Intel ® Rapd Storage Technology use a SSD as a cache. Whch can store frequently
used data wthout havng to use a slow vrtual dsk or depend on RAM. The SSD cache
wth the advantages of hgh-speed read/wrte and non-volatle memory to accelerate the
system performance.
Important
Check your SSD manufacturer's webste, upgrade firmware n order to support Intel ®
Rapd Storage Technology .
Intel ® Rapd Storage Technology can only work wth RAID mode. Even though there s
only one hard drve, you must set the SATA Mode to RAID n BIOS. The OS must be
nstalled n the RAID ready dsk n order to use the SSD cachng.
Follow these steps to enable system acceleraton. If Wndows has been nstalled n
RAID mode, skp to the step 5.
Reboot and enter the BIOS steup.
Set the SATA Mode to RAID n BIOS.
Install Intel
® RAID controller drver. Please refer to the secton "Installng Drver".
Install Wndows operatng system.
Powered off.
Connect the SSD.
Reboot the system to Wndows.
Insert the MSI DVD nto the DVD-ROM drve.
