2-6 Setting the printer

Item Description
Copies This specifies the number of copies printed.
Paper Settings This specifies settings related to the paper to print on.
Document
Size Select the document size from the pull-down menu.
Orientation This specifies the orientation (portrait / landscape) of the paper to print on.

Reduce Select either “Zoom” or “Fit to Paper”.
• If you select “Zoom”, specify a zoom ratio (between 25 and 400 %).
• If you select “Fit to Paper”, the zoom ratio is automatically adjusted to fit
the paper size to print on.
Paper Size Set the paper size to print on from the pull-down menu.
Custom
Paper If you click [Custom Paper Settings], the “Custom Paper Settings” dialog
box is displayed.
Paper Source Select a paper source in which the paper to print on is loaded from the pull-
down menu.
Paper Type Select the paper type to print on from the pull-down menu.
Cover Sheet Select this to insert a cover sheet from the specified paper cassette in the
first page. Click [Cover Sheet Settings], and select the paper source the
cover sheet is loaded in. However, you cannot insert a cover sheet when
combined printing or booklet printing is set.
