Item Description
User Authentication *1 Displays the name of the user that is currently logged in.
To change the user, click [Select User], and change the user in the “User
Authentication” dialog box.
To cancel a user, click [Cancel Selection], and click [OK].
User authentication is required in the following cases:
•Using the security printing function
•When user login is required by the machine policy setting. For details
on the machine policy, see chapter 4, “Setting the machine policy” in
“Setting security” in the Message Board Guide.
Security Printing *1 Select “On” to execute security printing.
To use this function, select the authentication user in advance.
*1 This can only be used when the machine is connected to a network.
