Displaying the TUNER MENU

Press A.MENU (AUDIO) button when source is TUNER.

Select “TUNER” and press A.MENU (AUDIO) button.
The TUNER MENU is displayed as follows:
BSM (BEST STATIONS MEMORY), REGIONAL, LOCAL, PTY, TA (TRAFFIC
ANNOUNCEMENTS), AF (ALTERNATIVE FREQUENCY), NEWS, P.CH MEMORY

Select “BACK” in the MENU display or press BACK/FUNC button to return to the previous
display.

To return to the frequency display, press BAND/ESC button.

If MW/LW band is selected, you can only select “BSM”, “LOCAL” or “P.CH MEMORY”.

If you do not operate the function within about 30 seconds, the display is automatically
returned to the frequency display.

Storing the strongest broadcast frequencies

BSM (Best Station Memory) lets you automatically store the six strongest broadcast frequen-
cies.

Select “BSM (BEST STATIONS MEMORY)” from the TUNER MENU, and press
A.MENU (AUDIO) button.

5 to turn BSM on.

BSM turns to green. While BSM is green the six strongest broadcast frequencies will be
stored Preset memory in order of their signal strength. When finished, BSM ruturns to the
nomal colour.

To cancel the storage process, press

∞.

Up to 18 FM stations, 6 for each of the three FM bands, and 6 MW/LW stations can be
stored in memory.

You can also use

5 and ∞ to recall radio station frequencies assigned to Preset memory.

If there are fewer than six strong broadcast frequencies, previously stored frequencies may
remain in memory.
