Last Scene Memory

DVD

This unit memorizes the last scene from
the last disc that is viewed. The last scene
remains in memory even if you remove the
disc from the player or switch off (Stand-
by mode) the unit. If you load a disc that
has the scene memorized, the scene is
automatically recalled.

NOTE

• This unit may not memorize the last scene

depending on the type of disc.

• This unit memorizes the last scene after

pressing  during playback.

A-B Repeat

The A-B Repeat function allows you to
specify two points (A and B) within a track
(CD, Video CD/Super VCD) or title (DVD)
that form a loop which is played over and
over.

1. During playback, press either HOME

MENU and select “Play Mode”.

2. Select “A-B Repeat”.

3. Press ENTER on “A (Start Point)” to set

the loop start point.

4. Press ENTER on “B (End Point)” to set

the loop end point.
After pressing ENTER, playback jumps
back to the start point and plays the
loop.

5. To resume normal playback, select

“Off”.

Creating a program list

VCD

This feature lets you program the play
order of titles/chapters/tracks on a disc.

1. During playback, press HOME MENU

and select “Play Mode”.

2. Select “Program” then select “Create/

Edit” from the list of program options.

3. Use / / / and ENTER to select a title,

chapter or track for the current step in
the program list.
• For a DVD disc, you can add a title or

a chapter.

• For a CD or Video CD/Super VCD,

select a track to add to the program
list.

After pressing ENTER to select the

title/chapter/track, the step number
automatically moves down one.

4. Repeat step 3 to build up a program list.

A program list can contain up to 24
steps.
• You can insert steps by just

highlighting the position where you
want the new step to appear and
entering a title/chapter/track number.

• To delete a step, highlight it and press

CLEAR.

5. To play the program list, press PLAY.

Program play remains active until you
turn off program play (see page 30),
erase the program list, eject the disc or
switch off.
