Remote control operation
mode switch
Switch the operation mode between DVD and DVH modes. Normally, set to DVH.
For details, refer to Using the remote control operation mode switch on the next
page.
9 DIRECT Press to select tracks (chapters) directly. Not used.

PLAY/PAUSE (f) Press to pause or resume playback.

Press to switch sequentially be-

REVERSE (m)

Press to perform fast reverse.
FORWARD (n)

Press to move ahead one frame at a time during DVD/Video CD/DivX playback.
Press and hold for one second to activate slow playback.

When pressing DIRECT, press 0 to 10 to
input numbers. Press CLEAR to clear the
input numbers. Press 1 to 6 to select the
desired preset station for the tuner.

12 BAND/ESC
Press to select among three FM bands
and MW/LW bands and to cancel control
modes of functions. Press to switch between media file
types. (Refer to Switching the media

Press to turn the information display on or off when the video is displayed.
Depending on the selected source, pressing this button can switch the display in-
dication.
14 A.MENU Press to select various sound quality controls.
15 FUNC Press to select functions.

Move the thumb pad
Functions are the same as a/b/c/d on
the head unit.
Move to operate fast forward, reverse and
track search controls. Also used for con-
trolling functions.
Use to select a menu on the DVD
menu.
Click the thumb pad
Click to display the track title list, folder
list or file list depending on the source. Click to select a menu on the DVD
menu.

MENU Press to display the DVD menu during DVD playback.
TOP MENU Press to return to the top menu during DVD playback.
