AUX IN Mode

Note: Your radio has an auxiliary audio input which you can use to let your radio be used as an external speaker for MP3
players, compact disc players and similar devices.

1. Connect the external audio source to the radio's AUX IN socket (on the back of the radio) by using a 3.5mm

auxiliary cable (available from your local electrical retailer).

2.

Press the MODE button repeatedly to switch to

AUX IN mode.

3. Use the volume, bass and treble controls on your radio to adjust the sound level if needed. Please note that you

may also need to set the output level on your external device to a higher level than normal listening.

4. Remove the lead from the Line input in order to resume normal operation of your radio.

iPhone/iPod Mode

1. When docking an iPhone or iPod, music files stored on your iPhone/iPod can be played through the speaker.

The method of playing music from an iPod or iPhone are alike, below are instructions on how to play an iPod as

an example.


Docking your iPod

1. Insert your iPod into the connector dock on top of the unit. The iPod will show that it is charging if it has been

connected correctly.

2. Select iPod mode by pressing MODE repeatedly until iPod mode is displayed.

3. If your iPod has not been connected correctly, it will display Insert iPod, in whch case disconnect the iPod and

then connect to the dock again.

4. Playing Music:

a. Press the

to play or pause music being played.

b. Press the

or

button to skip backward or forward through the song list.

c. Press the

or

button to adjust volume level.

Alternatively, you can select and play songs directly from your iPod.
