X X is an older rating that is unified with NC-17 but may be encoded in
the data of older movies.:

Example 1:
PG-13 in the age-based rating is blocked, this will also automatically block the higher ratings R, NC-17 and X.
Example 2:
R in the age-based rating is blocked, this will also automatically block the higher ratings NC-17 and X.
Note: The MPAA rating is only age-based.

TV PARENTAL GUIDELINES (examples)
Example 1:
When TV-Y7 in the age-based rating is set to BLOCK, this will automatically block the higher ratings: TV-G, TV-PG,
TV-14 and TV-MA. In addition, D, L, S, Settings are blocked automatically and FV can be set manually.
Age-based ratings can be modified by the content-based ratings, but only in the combinations indicated by an X
in the table above.
Choosing a lower age-based rating blocks the higher age-based ratings regardless of content rating settings.
