Installation Instructions

Installation — 95000223 & 95000224 Kits

1.

(95000224 Kit Only) Remove the foot switch cable

from the old electrical box so it can be wired into the

new system. Remove the old electrical box assembly

along with the hood switch. These will not be used with

the new system.

2.

Position the control box on the back of the enclo-

sure as shown in picture below; with the edge of the

box approximately 15-inches from the center of the fan

and 10-inches down from the hinge center line. Remove

the four screws holding the cover on the control box,

and mark the four holes to be drilled in the enclosure.

Drill 9/32-inch diameter holes and use the 1/4-inch

screws, nuts, and washers provided to attach the box.

below with the top of the box approximately 10-inches

4.

Replace the existing emergency switch (95000224

Kit Only) on the enclosure with the one that is wired to

the new control box. Diassemble the switch as shown

in picture below, noting how it comes apart. Insert the

red button from the outside of the enclosure through

the new yellow decal and into the enclosure. Slide the

square washer onto the threaded portion so the washer

corners bite into the plastic. Screw the nut on the back

side of the switch from inside the enclosure with the

white arrow on the switch barrel pointing up. Make

sure the decal is right-side up before tightening the nut.

Route the new, longer cable in place of the existing

cable in the hood. Slide the rear portion of the switch

onto the backside of the installed button and move the

red lever to lock the two pieces together. Then, use the

white clip to lock the lever in place. Insert the cable end

with the stripped wires to the terminal block Wire the

emergency stop switch, to the control box as shown in

the wiring schematic and picture. Tighten cable connec-

tor screws. Tighten the cable connector screws. Use

the cable ties to fasten the new cable.

7.

See picture to position the new hood switch at the

left end of the enclosure. Press “Z” bracket into corner
