When this option is activated ( - factory setting), an electronic signature can
be provided at the end of a batch report. The signature is recorded in the
device audit trail, with the date and time, and can later be evaluated with the
help of the PC Evaluation Software (PCA3000).

When this option is activated ( - factory setting), a user must provide an
electronic signature when logging off. The signature is recorded in the device
audit trail, with the date and time, and can later be evaluated with the help of
the PC Evaluation Software (PCA3000).

You should activate the “Simplified entry” option, since this makes
it considerably easier to enter a password on the device.
