Pre-cooling:
To avoid considerable temperature deviations at the beginning of an operation at
low temperatures, pre-cool the centrifuge together with the rotor before insertion
of the samples.

For pre-cooling please proceed as under:

1. Insert a rotor into the centrifuge and secure it correctly to the motor shaft.
2. Set the desired working temperature.
3. To shorten the pre-cooling process, set a speed which is about 20% of the

maximum speed indicated for the rotor.

4. Start the centrifuge.
5. Within 10-15 minutes the centrifuge should reach the selected temperature.
