Capture + Tolerances

#Unit

dBr (relative), fixed setting

#Mode

Describes tolerance type; the XL2 allows set-
ting of the tolerance type independently of the
tolerance file.

HighLow

Utilizes upper and lower toler-
ance based on ideal reference.

High

Utilizes only upper tolerance
based on ideal reference.

Low

Utilizes only lower tolerance
based on ideal reference.

#Columns

Column headings for further tolerance data
separated in different columns:
Frequency - Min - Ideal - Max

#ATolerances Defines the tolerance band for the

A-weighted wideband level (not mandatory).

#CTolerances Defines the tolerance band for the

C-weighted wideband level (not mandatory).

#ZTolerances Defines the tolerance band for the

Z-weighted wideband level (not mandatory).

#Band
Tolerances

Defines the tolerance band for the individual

frequencies.
The ideal parameter can be set as “undef”.

The same frequency value on two succes-

sive rows defines a tolerance step, e.g.:

#LevelOffset

All levels in the tolerance file are relative levels
dBr. Thus the level offset provides the relation
between the relative level and actual sound
pressure level. (not mandatory)
The XL2 allows setting of the level offset inde-
pendently of the tolerance file.
