Loading and Unloading
The Dynamix 2500 data collector communicates with the Emonitor software to
load and unload routes/lists.
Set Up Communication
There are many steps required to set up communication both in the Emonitor
software and in your data collector. The steps include the following:
• Selecting the computer communication options in the Emonitor software.
• Selecting the Dynamix 2500 data collector as the current data collector.
• Setting up the data collector to communicate with the computer.
• Installing ActiveSync software to communicate through a USB port.
• Connecting the data collector and the computer.
Most of the steps are completed from the Load/Unload dialog box. Click Set Up
Collector and Set Up Computer to set up the Dynamix 2500 data collector and
computer for communication.
Use the USB Connection
You use the USB port to load lists from The Emonitor software and unload data
from the Dynamix 2500 data collector. This interface requires you to install
Microsoft ActiveSync software:
• See POWER /USB/TRIGGER on page 20 for information on the splitter
cable.
