Chapter 2 Time Recorder Extension Module

Setting Up and Collecting
Time Recorder
Measurements

The Time Recorder extension module records a machine’s vibration signal (time
waveform) as a Microsoft Windows .wav file. The signals from both inputs,
Connector A, Connector B, and the external Tacho (POWER/USB/
TRIGGER) can be digitally recorded and stored for playback at a later date. The
recorded time waveform can be viewed on the data collector for onsite analysis or
it can be copied from the instrument on to a computer for analysis.
