GPS accuracy is dependent upon proper placement of the Tracking Key. Optimum
performance is achieved when the antenna has a view of the satellite without metal
obstructions. The signal will usually be sufficient through plastic, fiberglass, carpet,
cardboard, or glass. Taking a few extra minutes to locate the best location for the antenna
will reward you with the best possible tracking data.
(1) We highly recommend these locations for GPS antenna placement. Best overall performance and
superior signal reception for optimum accuracy.
(2) Signal reception may not be as accurate or favorable. This location may not provide the accuracy that
location (1) will.
(3) Recommended only when other locations or options do not exist.
