Setting the Flash Power.

The flash output is numerically displayed in watt seconds and can be adjusted three ways:

• Use the large “+” or large “-” buttons

to change the power level by 1/2 stop.

• Use the small “+” or large “-” buttons

to change the power level by 1/10 stop.

• Type your desired power settings

in the settings box.

Other flash button functions.

• The Flash Ind. button will turn the model

light flash indication function on
or off for this individual light unit.

• The Misfire button will turn the misfire

alarm feature On or Off for this
individual unit.

• The Standby button will put this

individual unit into or out of the standby
mode.

• The Test button will discharge or test

flash this individual light unit.

Autobracketing

The autobracket mode has been

added to the PL500DR and
PL1000DR models. This mode will
allow the user to bracket from 1/10
to 1/2 stops above and below the
Flash Power setting.

• To adjust the upper setting, use the “+” or “-” keys beside the upper display. If the setting
is set to “0”, then this limit is turned off. The upper setting is indicated with a “+” sign to the
left of its value.

• To adjust the lower setting, use the “+” or “-” keys beside the upper display. If the setting
is set to “0”, then this limit is turned off. The lower setting is indicated with a “-” sign to the
left of its value.
