1. STARTUP

-

Connect Keypad via the included USB cable to your computer. In order to select one of the 2 available presets,
hold Channel 1 or 2 before connecting the device via USB -19- to your computer.

- The last selected preset will remain stored also after turning the device off again. Select Keypad as MIDI device in your software.

In order to make adjustments for MIDI clock, hold the ARP button -9- while turning the device on.

- Afterward CH1 and CH8 On/Off buttons -3.2- will be lit. If you press CH. 8 On/Off, ARP will be synchronized to an external MIDI

clock. If you press CH. 1 On/Off, ARP will be synchronized to the internal MIDI clock (also see chapter 2.3.1). This setting is global
for all presets and will remain stored after turning the device on/off again.

2. oPERATIoN

2.1 Note input:
Use the Keyboard -1- or Pads -2- to input notes. Via buttons -12- and -13- the keyboard can be transposed by an octave up or down.
This way a total of 9 octaves are playable. The corresponding octave button is lit until the original level C2-C4 is reached again.
The octave buttons do not affect the Pads -2-. Pad 1 always corresponds to C1.
When holding the Scene/Shift button -5- various settings regarding internal functions can be selected via the keyboard. Detailed
information can be found in the corresponding chapters.

2.2 CC and PC Input:
Beides notes, the pads can also send CC and PC data. In order to send CC, press CC -8-. In order to send PC, press Scene/Shift
-5- and CC -8-. Depending on the selected preset, the control elements send CC or notes.

2.3 Internal functions:
Keypad disposes of numerous functions. Some of these can be activated via dedicated buttons. Others are (de-)activated by
holding the Scene/Shift button -5- and a corresponding key simultaneously. When an internal function is activated, this will be
displayed by the constantly lit reset button. By pressing the reset button, all internal functions will be deactivated.

2.3.1 Arpeggiator:
Activate the internal arpeggiator via the ARP button -9-. To hold tones without pressing a key, activate Sustain -10-. In order to
determine the tempo press the VEL button -11- rhythmically. To change the tones‘ rhythmical resolution, hold shift and select
an ARP time -16- via the keyboard. To change the tones‘ sequence, hold shift and select an ARP mode -15- via the keyboard.
