Unloading the Drill

1.

Place the drill on firm, solid ground.

2.

Turn off all tractor hydraulics to drill.

3.

Place auger diverter valve in forward position, refer to
Figure 2-11.

4.

Remove the clip from the auger storage lock pin. Slide
the pin forward and replace the clip in the hole nearest
the end of the pin.

5.

Remove the pin from the front auger storage latch and
pivot support downward. Replace the pin to prevent
loss while unloading, refer to Figure 2-12.

6.

Turn the auger and place the hopper fully under the
meter unload door. It will be necessary to raise the lad-
der and latch it in the raised position, refer to Figure 2-13.

CAUTION!

To prevent severe injury or death from a falling ladder be sure
to raise the ladder fully and make sure it is latched before re-
leasing it or working nearby. Do not attempt to climb on ladder
while it is in the raised position.

Make sure the auger control valve is off, refer to Figure 2-14.

7.

Turn on the tractor hydraulics to fold circuit and hold le-
ver in place.
