SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES

1.

Maintain a safe working environment. Keep the work area well lit. Make sure
there is adequate surrounding workspace. Always keep the work area free of
obstructions, grease, oil, trash, and other debris. Do not use the Halogen Lamp
in areas near flammable chemicals, dusts, and vapors.

2.

Maintain labels and nameplates on the Halogen Lamp. These carry
important information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for
a replacement.

3.

Replacement parts and accessories: When servicing, use only identical re-
placement parts. Only use accessories intended for use with this product.

4.

Use the right tool or attachment for the right job. Do not attempt to force a
small tool or attachment to do the work of a larger industrial tool or attachment.
There are certain applications for which this product was designed. It will do the
job better and more safely at the rate for which it was intended. Do not modify
this product, and do not use this product for a purpose for which it was not in-
tended.

5.

Immediately upon turning on the Halogen Lamp, the Halogen Bulb
(part #13) becomes VERY hot.
While operating this product, do not touch the
Halogen Bulb, its Guard or Enclosure.

6.

Avoid excessive UV radiation. Should your skin begin to feel hot while operat-
ing the Halogen Lamp, remove yourself from its light rays.
