KEYS

Integrated keyhead transmitters (IKTs) (if equipped)

Your vehicle may be equipped with
two integrated keyhead transmitters
(IKTs). The key blade is used to
start the vehicle and unlock/lock the
driver’s door from outside the
vehicle. The transmitter portion
functions as the remote entry
transmitter.

Your IKTs are programmed to your vehicle; using a non-programmed key
will not permit your vehicle to start. If you lose one or both of your IKTs,
replacements are available through your authorized dealer. Standard
SecuriLock

௡ keys without remote entry transmitter functionality can also

be purchased from your authorized dealer if desired.

Always carry a spare key with you in case of an emergency.

For more information regarding programming replacement IKTs, refer to
the SecuriLock

passive anti-theft system section later in this chapter.

Note: Your vehicle’s IKTs were
issued with a security label that
provides important vehicle key cut
information. It is recommended that
you keep the label in a safe place
for future reference.

Intelligent Access Key (IA key) (if equipped)

Your vehicle may be equipped with
two intelligent access keys which
operate the power locks and the
remote start system. The IA key
must be in the vehicle to activate
the push button start system.
