Troubleshooting

This section helps you resolve problems you may encounter while setting up or using the projector.

Indicator Messages

Fan error

Fans will not work correctly.

6 cycle (0.5 sec On,
0.5 sec Off)

Lamp error

Lamp fails to light. Wait a full minute and then turn on
again.

Green

Re-firing the lamp (The projec-
tor is cooling down.)

The projector is re-firing.
Wait for a moment.

Steady light

Green

Standby([Normal] for [Standby
mode])

Orange

Key lock is on.

You have pressed cabinet button when Key lock is on.

LAMP Indicator

Lamp has reached its end of life. Lamp
replacement message will be displayed.

Replace the lamp.

Steady light

Red

Lamp has been used beyond its limit.
The projector will not turn on until the
lamp is replaced.

Replace the lamp.

Green

Lamp mode is set to Quiet mode.

If a temperature error occurs

If the temperature inside the projector rises too high, the over-temperature protector will automatically turn off the lamp with the
STATUS indicator blinking (2-cycle On and Off.)
Should this happen, do the following:

- Unplug the power cord after the cooling fans stop.
- Move the projector to a cooler location if the room where you are presenting is particularly too warm.
- Clean the ventilation holes if they are clogged with dust.
- Wait about 60 minutes until the inside of the projector becomes cool enough.
