Multiple sheets feed together
During a multiple feed, more than one sheet feed from the stack at the same time.
Check 1 Did you fan the stack before loading?
Check 2 Is the auto sheet feeder overloaded?
Check 3 Is the paper folded or curled?
Check 4 Are you printing on transparencies?
